Who am I?
I’m a millenial, an accounting student, an introvert, and a woman. I’m made of stone in a lot of ways, and made of softer stuff in just as many ways. I’m always exhausted, almost always cold, and usually craving either a black coffee or a glass of wine. I’m a little pretentious and honest to a fault. I drink espresso and eat peanut butter with a spoon. I’m an under-seller and an over-thinker. I’m emetophobic, socially anxious, and unfailingly cynical, but I almost always choose happiness. I think in dollars and cents, and I never do anything halfway. More often than not, I don’t do anything at all. I’m a writer by nature, not by trade, and to explain why I write would be like to explain why I drink coffee – I simply can’t imagine life without it.
What am I writing?
In general, I write what I want. I celebrate the everyday, and I tell it like it is. I don’t like to take life too seriously, but I don’t believe in taking anything lightly. Every subject has its sense of humour, and its added depth, and I seek to find both when I write.
I’m a novelist, in my spare time, but on my blog I mostly publish my personal reflections and responses to different prompts.
